Senior NOC Engineer

What will you be doing?
• Identify network service improvement opportunities, suggest implementation strategies and deploy required changes in collaboration with SMN customers.
• Deploy and employ automated network monitoring and management tools to effectively perform above mentioned duties and activities.
• Resolve advanced technical issues and problems of SMN Managed Service customers.
• Plan and execute network device maintenance activities (e.g., patch upgrades) as well as establish corresponding procedures.
• Fulfill advanced managed infrastructure service requests and deploy changes.
• Manage and establish configuration information (CMDB) and related documentation about customer infrastructure.

What we expect?
• At least 3 years of hands-on network experience, working across range of telecommunication technologies.
• Proficiency in networking concepts, protocols, and technologies such as TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and DNS.
• Experience with network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, Grafana, Ansible, or similar would be highly appreciated.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related is preferred.
• Fluent Lithuanian and English languages.
